How to use Desktop Wallpapers
Mohammed Suhail

If you're at your computer for work or at home most of the time, it's no surprise to today's technological world. The world «paperless office, the soft copy of the software must be updated to provide information, etc. can all be pushed to the PC you use. Control and sooner or later you will surf the web, write letters, editing, and maybe get a sneak peek at family photos for social networks.

Regardless of your age and what can be linked to the field, the first thing you are looking for a few heavy first seconds of the desktop background on your computer screen. Before you start risking your own blog, website, photo shopping a picture or download music and video files that you just love fluttering butterfly to see very large raindrops, the mysterious sunset and turquoise ocean in the warm sunshine each image in the Desktop poster. As long as your desk is a mess of files and software, you can enjoy these great shots all the time, otherwise the first half minute or so before the Bureau to see all that you larger, clearer picture.

If you all of the above wallpapers will and feel of the game or try a few new people, then here are some considerations:

* Screen resolution is usually one of the following on the screen resolution, 1440x1280, 1280x1024 and 1024x768: You can use any size desktop image as a background, using one of these formulas. Great scenery and a little more than a thumbnail.
* Position options: Here again, you have 3 options, tile, center, or stretch. You can get it by right clicking the desktop, you click on "Properties and select" Desktop ", eventually the 3 versions to get there.
* The center of the "post your picture in the middle surrounded by icons of all your past and you see your peaceful scene than any obstacle.
* A "fall for" a lot closer to the selected images on the screen resolution. There is no need for the small image settings to stretch, as it distorts the picture. You can change it to the center.
* The tile will forward a double image on your desktop in the form of tiles. Just a clever enough to correct the image of the tiled look well to choose.

Other than this, you will be very different background styles, designs and colors of your favorite car, PET, Accessories, model, actor, home and even your family can do to the image refreshing Desktop background.

Backgrounds come a long way to a year before the static image: Animated Wallpaper is the new thing. You can get a rain shower, call screen, blowing wind, cute cartoon characters, as well as flash animated wallpapers or see: They are as much fun as the typical images. Screensavers Wallpapers is a type that appears when your computer is static for 5 minutes or more (according to your settings). They actually prevent overuse of force. Just be sure Wallpapers Screensavers or larger or not hamper system performance.

Residency Testimonials & Pics from Mira's List Fans!

Hi Everyone, Today I just wanted to share with you a handful of pictures and comments by artists who found residencies on Mira’s List. If you have any photos (no larger than 400 kb) and would like me to post one or two from your residency or the work you did at a residency you found on my blog, please send them to me: mirabartok@yahoo.com, along with a brief statement about your time there. Also include a link to your website if you have one. Thanks!

Enjoy, Mirabee

From composer and sound artist Charlie Williams:

Here is a picture of me at Arteles Creative Center in the remote Finnish woods. I am doing sound recording in the forest for some computer-interactive documentation of sound and space with a photographer I met there. Another thing I did at the residency was write one song every day with fellow resident Emma Hooper, based on a different Wikipedia article. Those are up at http://emmaandcharlie.bandcamp.com/album/wikipedia-daily-challenge

Massachusetts artist,
Julie Lapping River:

Hi Mira, I would love to share how wonderful our experience was at the
Soaring Gardens residency in rural Pennsylvania two summers ago, which we discovered on your blog. We were provided with a gorgeous studio and living accommodations next door in a lovely older home with beautiful grounds. We applied as a group of three artists working collectively and had a fruitful, inspiring and rewarding three weeks. The best ever!!! The three of us, Diane Travis, BZ Reily and I (Julie Lapping Rivera) began a true collaboration from that point forward. I am attaching a pic. Thank you Mira!
Julie

Hi Mira! I just wrapped up my third residency of 2011, two of which I discovered through Mira's List. Thanks so much for all you do; couldn't be more thrilled for your success with "The Memory Palace" :)

The snowy picture was taken when I was a writer in residence at ISLAND Hill House. In northern Michigan, on days when I'd see the thermometer rise above 0 and celebrate the warmer weather, I met the inspiration for my second book. The story is here: http://tinyurl.com/3eztk8j
The second of the Reading Room at the American Antiquarian Society, where as an artist in residence I studied broadsides from the American Revolution. This was the daily view from my office. Here, I wrote about balancing the book I began at ISLAND Hill House with studying an entirely different topic: http://tinyurl.com/6cyxb65

Artist, Sara Everett:
Hello Mira!

In November of 2010 I was lucky enough to get to go to the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, VT, USA "the land where painting all day every day is the rule, not the exception. The oasis where every meal is served with artists & writers to dine with galore." Which I applied to after following a link on your blog. I have changed the course of my life because of it and now try to live as close to a residency lifestyle as I can!

Thanks for your wonderful work,
Sara
